I chose this project because I like to watch baseball and the Detroit Tigers are my favorite major league baseball team. I also chose this project because it isn't too hard but it isn't too easy either. I had some trouble thinking of an idea for this project but once I thought of this idea I knew that it was the best decision. I thought about drawing a football or basketball but I decided that would be too easy and I wanted to do something challenging but not too challenging.
I had few problems with this project. My biggest problem I had was trying to draw the pencils and make them all the same width. I also had problems drawing straight lines for the pencils. Another problem I had was making the darks and lights clear. This took a lot of time because of how many different colors I had to use and how dark I had to color at times.
I really liked this project overall. I didn't really like this project at first but after I thought of the Detroit Tigers logo idea I started to like it better. I didn't think that it would turn out nearly as well as it did. My favorite part of this project is the colors. I also like the shapes of the pencils especially the curved pencils.
